The selection process has been designed to assess candidates on their academic knowledge, language proficiency, and document verification. Candidates qualifying in each stage will be considered for final engagement as Apprentices.

Stage 1: Online Written Examination

All eligible candidates will first appear for an online objective-type examination. The test is conducted to assess candidates’ aptitude, reasoning ability, English language skills, and banking awareness.

Exam Pattern

Duration: 90 Minutes

Key Points

• The examination is conducted online.

• Questions are objective (Multiple Choice Questions).

• Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks decided by the bank.

• Based on the exam performance, candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage.

Stage 2: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)

Candidates who qualify in the online examination must demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the state for which they have applied.

The bank may conduct a Local Language Proficiency Test to verify the candidate’s ability to read, write, speak, and understand the local language.

Exemption

Candidates who have studied the specified local language in Class 10 or Class 12 and can produce the relevant mark sheet or certificate may be exempted from appearing for the language test, subject to the bank’s verification.

Stage 3: Document Verification

Candidates who qualify in the previous stages will be called for Document Verification (DV).

During this stage, the bank verifies all the original certificates and documents submitted during the online application.

If any discrepancy, incorrect information, or false document is found, the candidature will be cancelled.

Stage 4: Medical Examination

Candidates who successfully complete document verification must undergo a Medical Fitness Examination.

The medical test ensures that the candidate is medically fit to undergo apprenticeship training and perform the assigned duties.

Only medically fit candidates will receive the final engagement letter.

Final Merit List

The final merit list will be prepared based on:

• Performance in the Online Examination

• Qualifying the Local Language Proficiency Test (if applicable)

• Successful Document Verification

• Medical Fitness

• Fulfilment of all eligibility conditions

Merely qualifying the online examination does not guarantee selection. Final engagement depends on merit, document verification, medical fitness, and availability of vacancies.
